Roboto asked me to collaborate on an ambitious music video for Skrillex, the multiple Grammy-winning electronic music artist. I created character designs, environment designs, concept art, and texture paintings for the project.

With a tight timeline and budget, my goal was to design memorable, distinctive characters that could be produced without heavy outsourcing.

 

We explored many directions before settling on the final, iconic designs seen in the video. Once they were locked, I painted textures for the characters and environments, including a massive skybox.

 

The video earned critical acclaim and went on to achieve cult status.
